Biographies

Educational Background

Ms. Pearsall graduated Campbell University magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, then graduated with a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law, where she authored a book about domestic violence and trained law students to obtain protective orders to stop domestic violence.

Experience

Her experience as an associate at a criminal defense firm inspired her to create a more client-focused practice in the summer of 2000: Pearsall Law Firm, P.C. With over 24 years of legal experience, she has fought for families and children, in cases covering a wide range of family law issues, and is licensed as a general, family law, and CPS mediator.

Licensure

Ms. Pearsall is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, and in the U.S. Supreme Court. She is also a mediator for family disputes in the State of Texas. 

Awards

Ms. Pearsall’s dedicated work ethic has earned her numerous awards, including the Consumer Business Review’s Family Law Attorney of the Year Award fivetimes (2000, 2001, 2007, 2008, 2009), is a premier member of the Continental Who’s Who, and earned the 2019 Lawyers of Distinction Award.

Hobbies

Ms. Pearsall enjoys raising her four beautiful children, doing volunteer work in the community, dancing, and reading, and travel and Ms. Pearsall also authored a book on recognizing domestic violence and helping domestic violence victims. 

Educational Background

Mr. Pearsall graduated Yeshiva University magna cum laude with a Bachelor of the Arts in Political Science, then graduated with a Juris Doctor from Colorado University School of Law, where he served with distinction as a senior law review editor and a student attorney in criminal defense matters.

Experience

Mr. Pearsall has defended clients in criminal courts, traffic courts, immigration courts, small claims courts, and regular civil courts. As a captain in the US Army Reserves JAG Corps, he has drafted hundreds of wills, advised clients from privates to generals. He has served at the Pentagon, in South Korea, and at Fort Hood and Fort Bragg. 

Licensure

Mr. Pearsall is licensed to practice law in Texas, Colorado, New York, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He offers mediation and arbitration services, and is a frequent legal education speaker. 

Awards

Mr. Pearsall’s essays have been published in magazines, law reviews, and journals, and they have earned several national awards, including the Burger Prize, awarded at the U.S. Supreme Court in an event hosted by Justice Ruth B. Ginsburg in 2015.  

Hobbies

Mr. Pearsall enjoys composing piano music. As a freelance writer, Mr. Pearsall has worked with 70+ clients around the world on projects large and small, ghostwriting everything from biographies and novels to textbooks and resumes.
